Daily Duties at Internal Revenue Service:
HR Branch Chief Professionally met with all the Directors of the Taxpayer Advocate Organization and handled the full cycle of Human Resources and Training and Development. Identified staff vacancies, announced the positions, screened all candidates, developed questions relevant to the position and interviewed the highly qualified candidates where these open positions were not only in DC but in various other states throughout the US. Maintained personnel records, and prepared Standard Operating Procedures on how Personnel Records were to be maintained which The National Taxpayer Advocate mandated that these procedures be enforced in every Taxpayer Advocate Office in the US. Project Manager Supervised 10 GS-13 employees and worked closely with Senator Roth on the Hill who was responsible for the Senate Finance cases that came out of the Senate Finance hearings. Assisted taxpayers who allegedly were mistreated by the IRS. Efficiently managed a Project which was highly visible where the ultimate goal of was to put the Senate Finance Cases out of business. Met with all areas of the IRS to ensure the taxpayer was treated correctly. Traveled all over the US teaching other functional areas how to correctly deal with these sensitive cases. Served a GS-14 in this position.
