Daily Duties at Dish Network (Echostar):
Responsible for the organization of all software releases, including websites, call center applications, programming, and corporate intranet. • Organized key participants for Enterprise Releases, including executives, developers, testers, management, technical support, and worldwide call center personnel. • Created the deployment plans for each release, to include SCR deployment sequences, dependencies, and rollback plans. • Analysis of all Software Change Requests to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the releases. • Key member of a task force charged with reducing Severity 1 defects. Severity 1 defects were reduced from an average of 9 per release to 1 per release over the past 5 releases. • Daily software release reporting to executive management. • Designed the processes for and installed the company’s TeamTrack process management tool.
