Daily Duties at Claro / Huawei Technology:
• Propose solutions to resolve issues that degrades the network performance • UMTS Planning of site’s antenna positioning to improve RSCPLev, Ec/Io Plot, HSPA throughput, Handover through defined neighbors • UMTS Optimisation using drive test/walk test to verify the assigned parameters and optimized the integrated sites (RSCPLev, Ec/Io Plot, HSPA throughput, Handover through defined neighbors) • Planned drive routes and test plans for optimization of upcoming and existing sites • Network Verification & Optimization - inspection of design implementations, conducting spillage & handover tests for indoor sites, neighbor definitions & interference analysis. • Collecting, Processing, and Analyzing of Raw Data using Huawei M2000, Genex Probe, Nemo Outdoor4 and WindCatcher GSM/UMTS • Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly statistical analysis reports • Monitor network performance and generate reports and recommendations to meet desired KPI • Performed RF tuning in a live network and clearly understands artificial and real traffic loading • Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retain ability, Mobility & Service Integrity. • Responsible for reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update, Paging, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in his designated area for all Voice, Video Packet & High Speed, issuing capacity requests whenever needed. • Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the Total Project Manager • Conduct Area wide Drive test to assess coverage and quality of the assigned area • Conducts coverage analysis and recommendation to improve cluster RSCP and Ec/Io • Identify Pilot Polluted areas and recommends changes to eliminate pollution and interference • Conducts layer 3 analysis to identify the cause of Dropped Call and Access Failure • Identifies areas with high Tx power, determines cause and recommends changes • Identifies areas with high BLER, determines cause and recommends changes • Identifies Boomer or Overshooting cell and recommend solutions • Recommends tilt and azimuth changes to improve coverage and improve KPI • Identifies missing neighbors and recommends addition for hand over improvement • Reviews and approves SSV reports for submission to Customer • Coordinates with RAN team to solve site problems such as low HSDPA throughput • Troubleshooting of SSV problems such as swapped sectors, CS and PS service problems and handover problems • Reviews and approves UMTS site audit reports
