Daily Duties at Nci Information Systems, Inc. (Government Contract) :

•Coordinate pre-site survey checklists to determine to readiness of the Air Force Medical Facilities. •Assist with the coordination of numerous migrations of EAS III system(s) to the EAS IV system(s) by converting UNIX to the Windows NT environment. •Configure Windows NT 4.0 on clients and servers to establish network connectivity. Installed Informix 7.3 and Business Objects on servers to act as the current database for EAS IV. •Perform network vulnerabilities and network worthiness testing for Windows NT and UNIX client/server that exist on the Department of Defense network. Coordinate in and out briefings to senior medical personnel at site location. Compile and provide after action reports for site visits. •Serve as a SCO UNIX Administrator. •Performed Y2K testing on SCO UNIX and Windows NT client/servers. •Act as a front-line support for EAS III/IV networking/firewall problems and solutions. •Maintain and configure sensitive servers that provide medical applications to end users throughout the Department of Defense •Proficient in administering and troubleshooting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
