Daily Duties at Gannett, Inc. :

Turned around ailing sales division with organizational overhaul, restructuring of sales territories, and implementation of new products and processes. Directed ~$40M in revenues and a $4.8M+ expense budget. Grew revenues year over year despite volatile economic conditions, including one of the worst job-loss rates in the country. Scope of accountability included budgeting, strategic planning, recruitment, training, marketing, and new product development. Led and collaborated with five task forces designed to produce operational improvements and provide strategic direction for new acquisitions. Supervised six sales, operations, and creative managers, and 71 indirect reports (sales, design and support).
