Daily Duties at Media News Group / Texas New Mexico Partnership:
Spearheaded sales growth, new product development, and corporate initiatives across eight properties in West Texas and New Mexico. Initiated regional sales plans to fill revenue gaps to budget. Analyzed potential market opportunities and directed efforts to capture business. Liaised with corporate sales and marketing leadership to develop and implement new programs and evaluate potential acquisitions. Devised and implemented marketing strategies for competitive product positioning to outperform the competition. Synchronized the efforts of regional leadership to implement comprehensive sales tools and performance measures to enhance employee development and results. Directed a $62M revenue budget and an $8.8M+ expense budget. Diverse scope of accountability also included, but not limited to, strategic planning, budgeting, recruitment, training, compensation development, and marketing. Supervised the Advertising Director or General Manager (top sales manager) at each property, the regional VP of Targeted Products & Online and regional Inside Sales Center Manager.
