uRreal, Seattle, WA • 2000-2001 Internet collaboration service utilizing VOIP, Chat, Avatars, and Business Data. CEO Recruited to re-start and transform company from kids entertainment industry to Internet collaboration service. Managed company of 35 people for 13 months. Company was insufficiently funded to achieve market objectives. Previously served as VP, Sales & Marketing with Gyzmo Gypsies, the predecessor to uRreal from 1997-1998. Career Notes: Additional 10 years experience as Product Manager (4 years) responsible for Oracle networking products and lead evangelist within Client Server road show, with Oracle Corporation. Lead technical spokes-person who presented at industry events, client meetings, and seminars. Instrumental in growing sales in hard to win business area. Also served as Software and Systems Trainer (3 Years) at Honeywell Information Systems and as Software Developer (3 years) responsible for design of £1M system for Unit Trust management at Software Sciences. Further tenure as VP Marketing with Sequel Technologies; Director Marketing, Uniplex; VP Marketing at Superbase, Inc.; Product Marketing Manager at Software Publishing; and Sales Manager, Vitria Technology.
