Daily Duties at Kdot Kansas Department Of Transportation:

Project management team member involved with the planning, design, execution, monitored development of four prototypes that were identified in order to test an enterprise-wide record imaging, document management and workflow architecture for the Records and Workflow Management (RWM) project; Managed sub-projects for the generic architecture (i.e. the enterprise-wide development structure) and individual prototype developments, which will test the agency’s business requirements for the RWM system. Assist consultants in the business and process analysis for the documentation of the enterprise-wide deployment of RWM as well as the analysis, planning and implementation of the four individual prototypes, including business requirements study and workflow analysis documentation. Coordinated status meetings, conducted requirement reviews and approved consultant deliverables to ensure they met project scope, detailed business and technical requirements and quality standards; Assisted with the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement of the consultants assigned to the RWM prototypes. As a Senior Programmer/Analyst for the Comprehensive Project Management System Team, I coordinated and completed business requirement and process analysis, planned, executed, implemented and documentation of new or major system enhancements and for the Comprehensive Project Management System (CPMS) and the DB2 database supporting CPMS. This included project management, user interface design, data analysis, database design and budget analysis and tracking; Coordinated and monitored consultant project assignments as well as completed or coordinated quality assurance testing and approved deliverables during the entire project cycle. Monitored projects assigned to consultants and other team members; Reviewed, tested and approved new/modified applications and database modifications developed by co-workers and consultants; Assisted co-workers in program analysis and implementation; Assisted and conducted user training. Analyzed and coded specific applications enhancements; Resolved daily operational issues. Member of interview teams for new hires for the CPMS project. Supervised co-worker and reported status to immediate supervisor.
