Daily Duties at Payless Shoe Source :
Coordinated, conducted and facilitated business and process requirements meetings to complete the analysis, design, implementation and documentation of major system enhancements or replacements that supported International expansion, Logistics, Store and Merchandising systems; These efforts included project management, scheduling, database analysis, business and technical requirements analysis, business functional design, creation and completion of a test plan, quality assurance and cost/benefit estimates for future projects, including accounting payment systems and sales reporting; Identified anomalies in existing business functions, systems and databases that required changes to prevent and/or correct issues; Assisted other team members in resolving logic and technical issues; Reviewed applications and testing plans for new/modified applications developed by co-workers and consultants; Supervised team members and reported status to Group Manager or Director; Conducted interviews for new team members and assisted with their orientation and training; Documented Store, Accounting and Logistics-Transportation systems and business functions; Analyzed and coded specific applications enhancements; Supported existing systems and resolved user problems; Member of the Performance Appraisal review committee (1999 – 2000) and member of the Spring 2000 IS & T Communications Off-Site committee; Member of the NVS leadership team, which was formed to plan and implement a new IS & T project development and support organizational structure, including Team Charter, system identification, development of a reporting structure, security requirements and communications protocols;
