Daily Duties at Grubb & Ellis Company:

· Worked as TIC/ LLC/ REIT Acquisition & Refinancing Closer. Was responsible for carrying out the entire Acquisition/ Refinancing closing process from the time deal goes hard and loan gets approved until the actual close of escrow takes place. Worked closely with the acquisitions department, lenders, attorneys, escrow officers and 1031 department, thus acted as the main point of contact for TIC/ LLC/ REIT acquisition/ refinancing transactions. Worked with multiple, quickly approaching deadlines, juggled more than one deal at a time. Kept acquisition department and asset and property management department informed and in line for closings made them aware of all requirements and any changes. Used discretion and decision making authority to assign tasks and projects to the closing/ due diligence team and enforced clear communication and timely flow of documentation to and from escrow, acquisition, accounting, finance, asset/ property management, lenders and legal counsels to prevent impediments that would affect the closing. · Compiled, prepared and updated prior performance tables for SEC reporting for more than 100 real estate funds for various sizes and types of commercial real estate investments. · Oversaw acquisitions, dispositions, financing, financial analysis, due diligence and property management in conjunction with chief investment officer of the company for existing and prospective variety of real estate programs.
