Daily Duties at Cryovac:
As a Statistical Process Control Coordinator, Mr. Barnes developed training material for Cryovac to educate the management and manufacturing line workers on the usage of SPC in the workplace. He also developed and maintained a shop-floor data collection system using SAS software. Under his guidance: • Cost savings were realized in reducing waste in the graphics area • A more accurate cost accounting system’s foundations were laid • Many who had never touched computer systems before became very well versed in them via training he offered • Managed staff for in-house development of training materials
