Daily Duties at Operations Associates:
As a Consultant for Operations Associates, Mr. Barnes was responsible for providing consulting and project management services to a variety of clients which included: Lockheed Martin Aircraft & Logistics Centers, Yamaha, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and Operations Associates internal projects. He provided development expertise to projects as well as project management skills as needed. At Lockheed Martin, he worked in the program management office with senior management to develop a plan for the implementation of SAP across the organization. Late in the project, he assumed the role of project manager in addition to the consulting role he had been in. During his tenure at Operations Associates he handled the following: • Generated over $2,000,000 annually in revenue from his projects • Installed a project management and accounting system for Operations Associates (Sema4) • Assisted Lockheed Martin in overcoming a Y2K issue • Oversaw completion of a project with a budget in excess of $50,000,000 • Managed a staff of consultants working on client projects • Led studies to aid in the merger of Lockheed Martin companies into a single operating unit and provided project plans to accomplish transfer of assets and personnel • Oversaw the migration of a 100,000 part warehouse to a new location for Yamaha via a custom warehouse management system
