Daily Duties at Ofc Consulting, Inc.:
Providing consulting services to Mortgage Originators and Manufacturing clients, Mr. Barnes has managed an implementation of a new rules based decision engine and loan application for Navy Federal Credit Union Mortgage, served as a Business Systems Analyst with National City Mortgage and provided strategic consulting services to Sensus Metering Systems for their Order Entry System. With these clients, he has provided guidance to develop requirements for new systems or to select new systems; working alongside teams that included developers, analysts, business process owners, senior management, systems architects and software vendors. He has managed the complete implementation for Navy Federal and is currently providing services to revamp their entire mortgage origination web presence. Analysis is being handled through a thorough interview process, followed by the creation of design documents and extensive requirements. Once completed, the development team worked from these documents to develop the requested solution which has undergone a thorough testing cycle prior to implementation. At Sensus, he is providing strategic consulting services towards the selection and implementation of a new order entry process and system. At National City Mortgage, requirements were handled via Rational Requisite Pro. As a result of these efforts the following has been seen: • Increased customer pull-through via new decision engine • Timely release of deliverables: requirements documents, designs and complete tested and implemented products • Delivery of project statuses and demonstrations to key stakeholders • Excitement generated at executive levels
