Daily Duties at So. California Gas Company:
Main responsibility was to insure that the daily billing batch/printing) completed in its assigned time frame. There were 21 different billing cycles per month. Managed computer operations on all rotating shifts approximately 15 support personnel. Also, responsible for providing customer support, production processing, problem resolution, scheduling, I/O area and tape processing/handling. Coordination and implementation of Storagetek Silos (4). Shared responsibilities for a successful consolidated data center move. Project lead in the installation of workload balancing under CA-7 automated scheduling. Initiated the reduction of 3420 tape reels to 3480 carts. Assisted in problem resolution when necessary.
