Daily Duties at Keebler Company:

Promotional Planning (Drive Trial and increase awareness) • Developed and executed regional, local, goodwill and profit-driven marketing programs. (Examples: Elves for Education, Feed the Children, Kid’s Safari Tour, NASCAR, Big 12, Free admission to State Fair of Texas, and $8 off Six Flags.) Worked with various marketing/media agencies to execute ideas. Wrote creative copy for media advertisements and commercials. • Incorporated corporate brand marketing guidelines (media advertising schedules, couponing, pricing floors, etc.) into promotional plans suitable for various markets within the Region to effectively utilize marketing funds. • Utilized syndicated (IRI/Nielsen) and internal (SAP) data to identify successes and determine opportunities within markets and key accounts. Promotional Negotiating (Secured most profitable elements for marketing plans) • Contacted media, as well as merchandise and consulting vendors to secure elements of promotional plans. • Researched and secured promotional tie-in partners for events to drive trial and increase awareness. Promotional Analysis • Analyzed forecasted profitability of upcoming brand promotions/marketing events. • Through attention to detail, rejected proposed marketing events erroneously submitted into SAP, thereby saving the company hundreds of thousands of marketing dollars. • Performed post-promotion analyses of marketing programs to determine profitability and share gains. Volume, Expense, and Profit Planner (VEP) database management • Improved accuracy and therefore reliability of the database that determines the manufacturing, pricing, and deployment of Keebler/Sunshine food products. • Improved accuracy of on-line price file preventing independent customers from receiving unearned allowances and preventing deductions from large chain accounts. • Rolled out utilization of VEP to six zone offices in central U.S. which included installation, initial training, and technical support on an on-going basis.
