Daily Duties at Windmoor Healthcare:

Provide administrative support to Director of Business Development and Outpatient Services. Coordinate marketing events. Generate statistical and expense reports. Provide data analysis and data entry to Health Management System (10,000, 12-field records). Update policies and procedures. Conduct facility tours. Manage internal and external communications – correspondence, memoranda, documents, meetings, telephone. Verify insurance benefits. Provide operational support to Windmoor’s Call Center Department by handling crisis calls from people seeking information, direction, and help for addictions and mental health problems. Interact and collaborate with colleagues within Business Development, Public Relations, and other departments, all employees throughout the hospital, physicians, external healthcare providers, and all other customers, clients, and patients in a manner encouraging and demonstrating harmonious professional relationships, enhancing the image, reputation, and performance of the facility, and promoting positive, constructive customer, client, and patient relations. 09/2005 - Community Resource Specialist 06/2008 Provide and market a community service portfolio. Promote a positive, solutions-based, results- oriented image of Windmoor. Develop, maintain, and enhance referral sources and networks with businesses, public service agencies, hospitals, and mental health facilities. Design and present program and resource workshops. Assess and evaluate the mental, psychological, and physical needs of potential clients and patients. Facilitate the integration of client and patient mental and physical health needs with appropriate clinical services and financial resources. (Client/patient communities served include Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties.)
