• Created Consumer Affairs Department resolving 360,000 inbound toll-free calls annually, with a 5% abandonment rate within four years; managed 44 personnel representing product lines of $800M, becoming top-performing Consumer Affairs unit within the Bristol-Myers Squibb organization. • Designed and implemented Bristol-Myers Squibb Customer Service Representative standards based on call quality and quantity; directed creation of 160-hour CSR training program, CSR career progression program, and six self-managed CSR committees. Also devised fulfillment procedures and supervised clerical staff to process 300,000 outgoing mailings annually. • Researched and applied highest customer service methods that would return value to Company through continuous product and direct marketing program improvements; within one year, new product introductions originating from ideas submitted by Consumer Affairs group generated $10M in sales. Devised $3M cost reduction in direct marketing programs. Directed outbound business-to-business (physician) telemarketing program that generated $6M in new product sales in one year.
