Daily Duties at Planet 9 Studios, Inc :
· Develop real-time 3d environments for Planet 9's application eScene - Robotic, “an urban simulation command and control interface designed to communicate with aerial (UAV) and ground-based robots equipped with environmental sensors for purposes of biochemical warfare security.” Client: Office of Naval Research. · Field research and photography · Develop and construct 3d geometry using Autodesk Maya, and Google SketchUp, generated from AutoCAD applications and aerial imagery. · Convert digital photo images into 2d texture maps using Adobe Photoshop. · Generate and paint texture maps using Adobe Photoshop. · Map UV’s and texture 3d geometry using Autodesk Maya, and Adobe Photoshop. · Create, design, and rig low-poly characters using Autodesk 3d Studio Max, Autodesk Maya, and AutoCAD. · Design layout and cinematography for fly-through animations using Autodesk Maya, and Adobe AfterEffects. · Video editing using Adobe AfterEffects. · Interactive web design and animations using Adobe, AfterEffects, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Photoshop. · Layout and design for client presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat 9, Adobe Photoshop.
