Daily Duties at South Water Management District :
Support the Water Management SCADA System (WMSS) and the SIM Division (SIMD) with technical writing, editing, and production of various District documents which includes, but is not limited to, technical manuals, presentations, Statement of Works, and Standard Operating Procedures. Interview and coordinate with District project members and provide continuous updates of projects. Manage, compile, edit, format, and publish each technical document in hardcopy/online. Publish documentation to the WMSS intranet site. Convert multiple file types to PDF files for WMSS and the SIMD. Design the SIMD flow diagrams. (Example: Converted the MR Procedure to a flow diagram.) Design and implement databases using Access for the Maintenance section of the SIMD. Prepare Project Schedules for the Engineering section of the SIMD. Responsible for graphic illustrations for the SIMD including illustrations, graphics, and presentations design.
