Daily Duties at Air Force Research Labs:

- Performed research in orbital mechanics for a novel method of identifying mixed satellite orbital data. - Created semi-automated Matlab tools for processing raw orbital observation data and determining satellite orbits. Matlab tools were validated with actual orbit data. Tools included functions to perform batch-processed orbit determination and high-accuracy Earth Centered Inertial to Earth Centered Fixed conversions using Earth Orientation Parameters. - Used Satellite Tool Kit extensively to produce high fidelity range, azimuth, and elevation values for initial Matlab code assessment. - Applied a Kalman filter to a visual pose estimation software to add a priori information.
