Daily Duties at Paragon Software Group :
Challenged with taking a top European company and starting up their U.S. operation, which included a product category that rivaled eight other competitors. Responsibilities included building brand awareness for company products, business development and OEM partnerships, creating and maintaining online partnerships, & product definition, direction, and positioning. * Utilized press relationships to expedite "spreading the word" in the U.S. on the company and obtaining positive product reviews, with a focus on the U.S. consumer, SMB, and enterprise markets. * Spearheaded numerous OEM initiatives. Negotiated and closed several product re-publishing agreements, which provided $600K guaranteed over a three-year period. Projected outcomes from other efforts were forecasted to generate $1M over two years. * Enhanced brand development and expansion by converting and restructuring an advanced product into a novice-usable, consumer product. Overall effort opened up a new category of users, expanded the product family's revenue, and extended the life of the brand.
