Selected by regional senior vice president to develop from scratch an internal communications plan for the largest region in the corporation, comprising 4 thousand employees serving 1.5 million customers in 344 New Jersey municipalities. * Collaborated with and coordinated all functional areas and Division/Corporate communications departments to insure consistent, timely and accurate dissemination of information, including marketing and sales initiatives, employee surveys, union avoidance programs and educational options available to employees. * Established Region intranet as information clearinghouse by posting over 350 updates in the first 12 months, reflecting progress to business goals, employee focus, diversity, community involvement, among other topics. Established two weekly e-newsletters that tied back to the intranet and resulted in 10 to 12 thousand page visits per week. * Opened two-way communications for employees via electronic suggestion box with option of anonymity. Served as liaison between employees and senior staff.
