Daily Duties at Mmi Companies, Inc.:

I was brought into MMI Companies to manage, migrate, upgrade, and integrate McManis Associates five offices across the US into MMI standards. To accomplish this, I installed a Novell 3.12 Server, and connected the server via Token Ring to all users’ machines. I upgraded, and converted the DOS applications to MMI’s Windows 3.11 corporate standard. In addition, I upgraded the following: Quattro Pro to Excel, Word Perfect to Microsoft Word and Harvard Graphics to PowerPoint. To save on travel costs to MMI, and other clients in many cities; I negotiated, implemented, and trained staff on using the VTEL video conferencing system. Incorporated, and managed remote access for users, using PC Anywhere remote access server.
