Daily Duties at Cox Communications:
TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER - ITOps Project Manager for multiple high-tech implementations. Responsibilities include full development of project management plans including: - Scope planning and definition - Risk identification - Cost estimating and budgeting. - Ensuring project completion within SLA timeframes. - Providing point-of-contact services for communications between the client and service delivery teams. - Acting as customer liaison between ITOps and Dev PM resources, facilitating resource, budget and time management coordination and communication between groups. Project Examples: Mobile Solutions Services FSR Portal Pilot Launch Project: This project will aggregate and consolidate all field applications into a single and easy to use portal interface on the mobile work order management device in the field. A successful portal implementation will save 10 minutes per technician, per day which can be related to almost 2 points per day in additional productivity. This includes w orking with the development teams to ensure a complete and fully functional product in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the Arizona field crews and requirements generated by the Field Service Steering Committee. Mobile Solutions Services SDLC Project: This project is intended to facilitate a proper SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) for the Field Services environments. Atlanta Mobile Solutions Services, Atlanta Interface Support, Atlanta Tech Ops, Various Atlanta Development Groups, Atlanta QA, Field IT Groups as appropriate, Field Services Groups as appropriate. By implementing industry standard SDLC practices we will ensure more stable processes, ultimately increasing availability and reliability.
