Daily Duties at Sprint:

• Analyzed, designed, developed, debugged, and tested an internal web application, Spyder 3.0, based in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Spyder is a workflow tool used by Sprint clients, such as Namco and EA Games, which improves communication with Sprint and serves as a loading dock for device content. • Participated in daily Scrums, kept records of development progress, improved software documentation quality, and communicated with managers to produce quality software and meet company deadlines. • Increased department productivity by creating a workflow tool in C++ for the Product Development group. This tool was projected to save the group thousands of dollars per year in labor, lower the consumer call rate to customer care, and improve the quality of work of the team. • Presented an end-of-internship presentation using the OpenGL API, C++, and the .NET Framework. The presentation included 3D animation, textures, hidden surface removal, and shading.

What they like about Sprint:

You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
