PRINCIPLE FINANCIAL ANALYST, SYMANTEC, CUPERTINO — 2005 - 2009 • Build Profit and Loss Models for Symantec‘s Mergers and Acquisitions VP • Lead financial analysis efforts for the acquisition of $200 million plus organizations • Cooperate with accounting and finance teams of acquired organizations as well as Symantec‘s internal teams to integrate newly acquired organizations into Symantec‘s systems • Convert IFRS financial based information into GAAP based data • Create the Consumer Finance bi-weekly dashboard with detailed bookings revenues expenditures as well as Symantec vs Competitors‘ market positions • Report global bookings positions to the Consumer Division President and Consumer VPs on a daily basis PRINCIPLE FINANCIAL ANALYST, SYMANTEC, CUPERTINO • Manage financial planning for Symantec‘s $250 million / quarter Rebate Budget • Reduce inefficiencies in Europe‘s Rebate plans saving Symantec $40 per quarter • Lead finance team‘s efforts on the Gross To Net Initiative (migrating the Global Symantec Sales and Marketing Teams from a Gross Commission Basis to a Net Commission Basis) • Forecast BUs bookings and revenues (approximately $2000 million / year) • Present the Marketing Dashboard to the Symantec Marketing VP on a weekly basis
