Daily Duties at Southwest Memorial Hospital:
Conduct failure mode effect analysis and root cause analysis for adverse events, sentinel events, and near misses. Facilitation of performance improvement teams, programs, and projects. Monitoring and recognizing opportunities for improvement from facility-wide and individual department data. Actively responsible for system-wide initiatives such as 5 Million Lives Campaign, CMS core measures, CFMC, and HCAHPS. Oversight of infection control and safety programs, conducting bi-weekly safety rounds. Coordination of organization-wide Policy and Procedure Committee. Work closely with education on staff trainings, competencies, and community education.
