Daily Duties at Team Care:
Saw patients at their homes to provide: IV chemotherapy, blood transfusions, antibiotics, drawing labwork, teaching patients and their families about the different types of venous access they had and how to care for the IV. Taught patients and families how to administer TPN, Gancylovir for HIV patients. Much of the Home Infusion was driven by the HIV epidemic and I became very well versed in the HIV/AIDS.
