Secure loads, Establish whether the equipment needed a permit to be hauled, ie Florida overload permit or other states, Secured the DOT Oversized permits based on the machine size & weight. Route the trucks, Bill for the loads, receive payment for loads hauled, track down bad debts, Hire men, checking their background, according to DOT specs.including physicals and drug testing Purchased all insurance, Federal Permits, State permits, Responsible for IFTA Reporting and Fuel Reports. Secured Financing for purchasing of Trucks, Made sure all trucks were serviced when needed. Repaired when needed, Payroll and any correspondence when needed.
