Daily Duties at Childrens Hospital National Medical Center:
Set up clinic each day. Manage the flow of patient's to avoid the clinic getting slow and patients having to wait for long periods. did vital signs,obtained weight and height, did ekgs on all patients, maintain growth charts, performed sedated ECHO'S on children who could not cooperate and sit still for an Echocardiograms. Performed urinalysis on children in the nephrology clinic. Assign each MD a # of clinic rooms depending on the number of patients they were seeing. Scheduled clinic visits, at the end of each day we would ready the clinic for the next day. Traveled to different clinics in Rockville, Northern Virginia, Laurel, Maryland.
