Daily Duties at Dvc Industries:
Full P & L responsibility for the operation of the southeast manufacturing division of a New York based company. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, managed manufacturing, staffing, purchasing, distribution and maintenance in a TQM environment. Managed all activities for the vinyl product line from order entry through shipping including planning, design, engineering, estimating, scheduling, purchasing, production, and distribution. Managed current material flow, total costs, production performance, and inventory levels Managed the purchasing, use and requirements of all raw materials, and organized material and stock transfers for four manufacturing facilities. Negotiated corporate contracts. Achieved an efficient, workable, income producing entity using a combination of the existing company trucks and various backhaul possibilities, along with carefully selected common carriers and owner operators.
