Daily Duties at Sungard:
Responsible for development and support of a power scheduling product that requires 7x24 availability, large amounts of data, and fast user response times. Involved in all aspects, including requirements gathering, technical design, development, quality assurance, and customer support. Team lead with 8 developers. • Designed and developed a new interface with an external software product to support the California regulatory organization’s market redesign software upgrade resulting in a $450,000 annual software license from the customer. • Product expert involved in a 2 year project to convert the existing product from forte to java. • Designed and helped develop a new screen in swing that contains multiple panels and the ability for users to rearrange the order to fit their business process. • Integrated the existing user interface into a common menu platform for all company products.
