Daily Duties at Lornamead Inc.:

My responsibility is to handle processes involved in the supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties including, manufacturers, freight carriers and consumers. I coordinate processes to ensure customer satisfaction. An awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as fuel costs and economical pressures. My daily role is heavily spent in transportation; stock control; warehousing; and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of product and orders to customers. I manage delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation of freight carriers and 3PL provider. My responsibilities may vary to support the smooth and efficient operation of the overall business. Support usually includes: Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement of product • Analyzing data to monitor performance • Analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions. • Managing staff training issues; • Motivating other members of the team;
