Project Manager Osp Cabling Responsible for quotes, site surveys, and management of voice and data cabling systems. Category 5 copper and fiber optic systems are the majority of the systems used. Awarded jobs in offices, schools, and chemical plants. Billing and quality of installations have also been a part of the job requirements. Approx. 20 million dollars project management over 4 year period. Crew Supervisor Cable voice and data: thinnet, thicknet, twinax, type 1, twisted pair, RS232, 110 termination, & patch panels. Fiber optic: plant, hospital, commercial. Supervised, terminated, and tested many large projects. Knowledge of anerobic, ultraviolet fiber connectors, Siecor and AT&T, ST and SMA types. Test equipment: Next scanner, 100 MHz penta scanner, optical time domain reflectory (OTDR - for fiber certification), light meters (for decibel loss), TDR (Time domain reflectory for copper troubleshooting), and fiber splicing machines.
