Utilized multiple computer, radio and satellite systems to monitor mission progress and respond effectively when mission requirements dictated. Responsible for draft and submission of classified reports, personally conducted formal investigations into incidents and defended actions taken to complete the mission. Also responsible for design, setup and maintenance of all equipment to include: workstation computers, laptop computers, NIPRNET and SIPRNET connections, network cables, routers, switches, satellite phones, copier/scanner/fax combinations and GPS tracking stations. Key Achievements • Maintain a 92% systems up-time on all supported systems. • Designed, implemented and administered a fully featured web site featuring FAQ, Picture/Video galleries, complete archive of past articles and search functionality. The site was operational for 2 years. • Designed, implemented and administered a satellite internet connection servicing 30+ soldiers boasting over 90% up-time and speeds of 1.25 Mbps Download, 400 kbps Upload. • Trained small groups of 10 to 25 soldiers in basic to advanced report creation, functionality and maintenance of equipment and computer systems.
