Daily Duties at Adelphia Cable:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and dispatch on-scene repair technicians if needed for the Adelphia cable television network and the interfaces with the billing systems: Cable Data and CSG Troubleshoot, maintain, and insure the integrity of Adelphia’s Impulse Pay Per View (IPPV) and Video on Demand (VOD) subsystems insuring any outage effecting our subscribers is repaired in a minimum amount of time Provide troubleshooting support for field technicians if they experience difficulties when installing Digital Home Communications Terminals (DHCT) and cableCARDs in our subscribers homes Monitor the network circuits that comprise the nation wide Adelphia Enterprise network, coordinate and dispatch technicians in the event of a circuit outage, notify effected offices and call centers. Assist technicians when required in troubleshooting Adelphia’s Motorola DAC 6000 Digital Television servers and associated hardware Insure that the inventory of Digital Home Communications Terminals (DHCT) needed by the individual sites have been entered into the DNCS and billing system and are ready for our subscribers use
