Daily Duties at Wonderware Corp.:
Wonderware is the leader in manufacturing systems software, now owned by Invensys. Director National Accounts 1998 Reported to the VP of Sales and spearheaded company sales effort at strategic Fortune 100 customers who were currently using competitive products and services. Products: Wonderware produces a suite of manufacturing systems software including: Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Software, Manufacturing Execution Systems Software and Process and Discrete Control Software. Markets: Global 1000 manufacturers such as Automotive. Aerospace, Consumer Products, Specialty Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Utilities and Oil and Gas. Accomplishments: Developed sales strategies and programs which could be used by the national channel to attack our competitors weaknesses. I traveled extensively rolling out these programs across the U.S. Promoted to this position from Regional Sales Director. Regional Sales Director 1996-1997 Total business responsibility for Midwest Sales Operation including management of 5 direct reports and managing sales and business relationships with 7 distributors in the U.S. and Canada. Reported to the National Sales Manager. Products and Markets: Identical to above. Accomplishments: Grew 1997 business 38% over 1996, with 1997 sales of $6.5 MM. (22% over quota). Recognized as Top Growth performing region in the company. Promoted to this position from Regional Area Sales Manager. Regional Area Sales Manager 1994-1995 Responsible for “key account” sales in a six state region. Worked with channel sales partners supporting their sales efforts and providing them with new product training and technical support. I reported to the Regional Director of Sales. Products and Markets: Identical to above. Accomplishments: Grew business revenues 55% in 1995 over 1994 (25% over $1.2MM quota) and 1996 sales grew 45% over 1995 (22% over $1.4m quota).
