Daily Duties at South Texas Rehab Hospital:
Managed departmental staff and budget. Assisted with and provided consult in the start-up and expansion of a state-of-the-art, free-standing acute rehabilitation hospital. Responsible for staff recruitment/retention, new business development, and implementation of policies and procedures. • Monitored performance improvement, data collection, marketing and inventory control • Handled QA/PI reporting to ensure compliance with JCAHO surveys and TDH standards • Followed up on in-service education, evaluation and treatment of patients • Involved in all aspects of running the daily operations of the hospital and the employees.
