Daily Duties at Unitek Information Systems:
• As the Sr. Technical Recruiter, my responsibilities ranged from general technical recruiting for the consulting division to sourcing for in house sales and account managers. • I was in charge of formalized training for the new hire contracting and consulting recruiters. • The company's areas of focus were Network and System Administration and Web development within NT, Solaris/Linux and Cisco platforms. Part of my responsibility was to research new search engines and Internet resources to find ones that attracted the best quality candidates. • In the last three months, I was directly responsible for bringing in 33 permanent consultants and 11 interns for that division. • I have also acted in a consulting liaison capacity between the on staff consultants and the management staff. • In addition, I have been solely responsible for performing any background checks and reference checks for my potential candidates as well as all the hiring paperwork, contracts and offer letters once my candidates were hired.
