Spearheaded all management responsibilities for T.G.I. Friday's (casual dining). Recruited, trained and mentored 6 new personnel including waiters/waitresses and kitchen staff. Led succession planning, promoting those that demonstrated leadership potential to areas of increased responsibility. Ensured complete compliance to corporate requirements, state/federal guidelines in health, HR and occupational safety. Multitasked, taking on a “hands on” approach to maintaining a streamlined, effective and efficient operation. Adopted 22 years in the military to the work place in terms of boosting employee morale, productivity and creating a culture of performance. Learned quickly all aspects of managing the hospitality/restaurant field.
