Daily Duties at St. Louis Police Department :

June 2008-October 2009, Sergeant, Tactical Deployment Unit       Supervised undercover operations of officers working in conjunction with the ATF in purchasing stolen firearms from target suspects. Responsible for gathering information from neighborhood citizens, tipsters, informants and narcotics hotline and implementing strategies to resolve problem areas and suspects in the first district of the city.  Supervised 11 officers using strategies developed in areas of undercover and street level enforcement.  Oversaw high risk search warrant execution, consent to search, arrests and documented game members committing violent crimes.  In a one-year period 1523 arrests, 378 Search warrants and consents, 48 guns seized by unit with 17 cases adopted at the federal level.  Supervised in conjunction with federal agencies under grant money from ATF and Gang Grants.  Set officer schedules, developed performance evaluations, target community strategies, payroll, vacation and sick leave and all administrative duties for the Unit.  July 2007-March 2008, Sergeant, Community Response Team       Supervised a team of 8-16 officers in specialty investigations charged with targeting violent crimes, criminals and locations in the 6th district.  Oversaw high risk search warrants, consent to searches and street operations in both a uniform and plain clothes capacity. Oversaw 2 school resource officers and 2 problem property officers’ daily operations.  Set goals, strategic plans and oversaw undercover weapon and narcotic investigations.  April 2007-July 2007, Sergeant, North Patrol Felony Assault Response Team       Led a team of 10 officers in investigating all violent crimes, criminals and locations in the Sixth District.  Supervised and led this team as they conducted street operations in both uniformed and undercover capacities.  Supervised high risk search warrants and consents.  Set goals, strategic planning for the district and oversaw undercover weapon and narcotic investigations.  February 23, 2007, Promoted to the rank of Sergeant, First District  August 2004-February 2007, Anti-Crime Task Force  July 2002-August 2004- Patrolman, Eighth District  January 2002-July 2002, Detective, DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency)       St. Louis Task Force based in Clayton, MO  January 2000-July 2002, Undercover Detective, St. Louis Narcotics Division Member of the Street Corner Apprehension Team in which undercover narcotics detectives purchase narcotics and participate in suspect apprehension.  Follow-up investigations requiring interview techniques, search warrant application and execution and criminal trial participation.  March 1998-January 2000, Patrolman, First District  March 1996-March 1998, Detective Member of the Central Patrol Detective Bureau in charge of investigating criminal incidents in the Fourth, Fifth and Ninth Districts within the Central St. Louis corridor.  April 1994-February 1996, Patrolman, Ninth District  February 1992-April 1994, Patrolman, Sixth District  October 1991-February 1992, Recruit in Training, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Academy.
