Daily Duties at Creative Labs, Inc.:

A consumer electronics and multimedia company - Surpassed profit and loss, revenue and market share goals for 5 straight years. Responsible for all aspects of the Sound Blaster sound cards and Cambridge SoundWorks speakers’ product lines development and branding through sales and marketing including content provider partnerships with over 100 partners. • Led Creative Labs/Cambridge SoundWorks to # 1 market share leadership position in U.S. retail and distribution within consumer electronics incorporating all 4 P’s of marketing. • Introduced and contracted new Creative and Cambridge brands with at least 3 retail products/SKUs each year from 1998-2003 with top U.S. retailers – Best Buy, Circuit City, Frys, Staples, Office Depot, Wal-Mart, Sears and Target. • Negotiated agreements with over 100 third party license/content providers and partners. • Defined, championed and launched 36 products within Sound Blaster/Cambridge audio product lines – including winning 2 CES best of show products for audio technologies. • Doubled the category gross margin and revenue each year from 1998 to 2001 – Peaked category gross margin to 67% in 2000 and annual revenues to over $70 million for U.S. Retail in 2001. • Managed and trained both technical and product teams with 11 and 6 team members – also provided marketing/sales training for 150 retail Marketing Agents and all top retail partners. • Reported directly to company President and General Manager.
