Daily Duties at New York City School Construction Authority (Sca) :

Reporting to the Vice President for Administration, in close collaboration with other senior administrative managers, brought in to design a vendor recruitment program that will support the anticipated needs of the SCA’s Business Development, Procurement and Prequalification Divisions. Key Accomplishments: • Conducted gap analysis to match current/anticipated workload with existing database of pre-qualified/certified contractors and consultants • Designed and currently building an access database to systematically track and measure the success of outreach activities • Identify trades and professional consultant services in which the SCA needs to attract more qualified bidders/proposing firms. • Analyze the current vendor/consultant outreach process (e.g., advertising, media relations, outreach events, event follow-up) and identify opportunities for improvement. • Assist these Divisions in attracting additional, diverse contractors and consultants (including MWLBE -minority, women, or locally- owned firms) in critical trades and professions.
