Daily Duties at Shawmut Design And Construction :
- Experienced in project set-up including construction document review, internal budget and initial cost code setup, writing project specific subcontractor scopes of work and subcontractor buyout. - Maintained communications on a daily basis with subcontrators, design consultants, vendors and owners representative to resolve all project issues. - Managed the processes of logging, distribution, progress tracking and follow up from inception to completion of submittals, RFIs, and material/equipment expediting with Primavera Expedition, Prolog and Excel. - Produced monthly “Cost-To-Complete” reports utilized for reporting internally to Project Executive and upper management forecasting of project profit and comparison of budgeted costs vs. committed and uncommitted costs to date. - Managed project cost control systems including review and approval of subcontractor invoicing and change order requests, client billing and owner change order requests. - Performed site visits to monitor construction progress, safety concerns, construction coordination and quality control issues with project superintendents and subcontractor foremen. - Lead weekly project meetings with owner’s representatives, design consultants and owner vendors. - Managed project closeout including closeout documentation, final subcontractor billing, oversight and coordination of systems training for owner’s maintenance personnel.
