Daily Duties at Miami Dade County Department Of Environmental Resources Management:
•Reviewed sanitary sewer and water system plans for County, DERM, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliance, including; lift-stations, force mains, vacuum sewer systems, gravity sewer collection lines, and water distribution extensions for public, commercial, and residential applications. •Evaluated pump selections and system designs to ensure maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness (value engineering). •Determined corrective actions and advised Engineer of Record (EOR) of all necessary requirements in order to expedite the permitting process. •Conducted on-site inspections and determined as-built accuracy. •As an officer of the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), reviewed inspection results and issued Final Approval and Certification on completed projects.
