Responsibilities include Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing & Sales, Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Finance & Accounting, Budget Administration, Cash Management, Human Resources, Information Technologies, and Banking and Audit relationships. • Saved over $3 million in annual expenses – consolidated operations, closed facilities, reduced headcount, restructured trade debts and benefit programs, negotiated price reductions, and replaced high cost suppliers. • Reorganized Operations and processes - improved manufacturing gross profit margin by 18.5% of Sales. • Returned order and discipline to chaotic manufacturing environment – revised production scheduling and manpower planning systems, established performance metrics by department and product types, improved operating flows. • Developed cash management systems and operating procedures that provided weekly departmental spending analysis and procurement cost and headcount requirements by product type. Implemented daily departmental MFG metrics. • Rebuilt management reporting to identify fixed and variable portions of manufacturing overheads and revised pricing model and quote process to include production volume impacts on purchasing and efficiency costs. • Established manufacturing sweet spots for various production capabilities and developed marketing and sales strategies geared to optimize utilization of resources on highest profit production types.
