Daily Duties at First National Bank Of Maryland:
Manage and perform the acquisition of assigned commodities and services, utilizing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process for purchases above $1,000 in total. Manage and coordinate the replenishment of a multimillion dollar supply inventory, and prepare end-of-year inventory valuation reports for senior management. Supervise and direct the activities of the Purchasing Department staff – comprised of a junior buyer and 3 clerical positions – as well as supervise the Reproduction Services Department and its corresponding staff of 3. Assist the Vice President of Purchasing with capital acquisitions as requested, and develop and maintain a list of frequently purchased capital equipment with the corresponding cost for capital budget development.
