Daily Duties at Apac Southeast, Inc.:
As a senior construction project manager for one of the largest paving and road-building companies in the USA, my duties included interfacing all projects between bidding and accounting software, maintaining overall crew and material schedules in electronic format for the entire division, mentoring and assisting employees (particularly with IT issues), bidding road and bridge projects (using HCSS Heavybid), preparing and updating CPM schedules (using Primavera) for all projects. Also I concurrently managed large projects, including, a three-mile reconstruction of six-lane US 41 in Venice, FL, runway and taxiway reconstruction jobs at the Sarasota Airport, repaving of numerous county and city roads (8 projects), ramp modifications for I-75 interchanges and also a reconstruction of a highway bridge in Englewood, FL.. Additionally, I worked with partner engineering firms to develop very detailed design/build proposals for three large projects
