Daily Duties at Johns Hopkins Hospital:

• Handled product evaluations and justifications, acted as an internal consultant for CA7 and problem management (Infoman). • Participated in shutting down IBM Mainframe and subsequent install of AMDAHL mainframe. • Provided comprehensive support for CA7 including: execution and upgrades, ensuring job control language(JCL) conformity, and scheduling new/existing production systems. • Reviewed JCL & Procs to ensure optimum DASD and tape utilization in accordance with JCL standards and handled production copies. • Responsible for file restores and monitoring availability of scratch tapes. • Provided on-call support for batch processing • Developed policies and procedures for mainframe and individual component shut-down. • Created training guide for job scheduling and problem management • Updated / Created procedures as needed.
