Daily Duties at Aviza Technology Through Neocortex:

Client: Aviza Technology, Scotts Valley, California Oracle Application Functional Consultant/Technical Consultant Key Modules: Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, etc The client is in the high-technology industry headquartered in US with global offices situated in Americas, Europe and Asia. - Implemented business application solutions, documents processes and resolve issues with the business user community for Order Managements processes which includes Order Copy, Order Fulfillment, Shipment Set, Pick Release, Trip Stop for Deliveries - Validated and re-configured Order Management transaction types and Order Approval Workflow which includes Returns (RMA), Spares, System, System Upgrades, Internal Sales Order, Invoice Only, etc for new application upgrade and patches - Set-up new automatic Order Management pricing adjustments/discounts for new customer agreements; Implemented solutions for customer merging and standard for internal customer-relationship set-up for inter-org replenishment - Implemented business application solutions for Inventory processes and resolve issues which include Inventory Min-Max Planning for automatic replenishment, Automatic Lead Time calculation based on the foreign and manufacturing organization rule with 5 day standard lead, Fixed Days Supply automatic calculation based on Item Cost, set-up of Inter-Organization Shipping Network for in-transit lead time planning requirement for ASCP planned orders, etc. - Prepared MD50 (Functional Design), DO70 (User Guides) and Troubleshooting Guides for Order Management key processes like Order Manual and Automatic Discounting, Shipping, Pick Release, Grouping by Fulfillment and Shipment Set, security access control for Customer and Supplier authoring and updates, and Purchasing processes such as internal requisition to Order Management sales order, Automatic Sourcing by Blanket Purchase Release and Auto-sourcing Rules, Purchasing Hierarchy reporting for purchase and requisition approval easy maintenance etc. - Worked with the business users/managers to implement standard process solution or system work-around, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and patch upgrades. Part of the deliverables include user or how to guides, processes on how to work on orders, returns, automatically sourced orders, order to demand pull process and order to cash processes, replenishments through outside processing job or standard jobs, identified the controls for the use of the lead time system controls for advance replenishment of the goods prior to the actual supply need using sourcing rule and blanket releases, establish alerts for several modules automatic informational or action type of requests and order to cash processes for shipment and periodic billing. - Designed or enabled the system controls with the Business Manager to identify the business requirement for Contract to Renewal having automated repeated billing depending on contract agreement with automatic notification for approval. Workflows were incorporated in Update and Termination of contracts to cover the business process change for audit controls. She documented the ways to use these controls through Oracle Service Contracts. She developed the changes for the Service Contract reporting requirements. - Designed the reporting tool and journal spreadsheet uploads for which the month-end reports can be generated via a Web-based module called Report Manager and spreadsheet journal upload through Web-based Desktop Integrator. - Designed and developed the payment and reconciliation process for communication of the checks and automatic remittances of employee reimbursements and paycheck. - Prepared Training Guide using the User Productivity Kit for Service Contract and Web ADI. - Provided support for month-end closure activities for all modules which includes housekeeping. - Conducted Training to the business users and project team
